South Tyrol Sustainability Label

Level 2

As a small, family-run guesthouse in Merano, a mindful and respectful approach to the environment is especially important to us. We are therefore delighted to have been awarded the South Tyrol Sustainability Label – Level 2 for the past year. This recognition confirms the path we have taken and at the same time motivates us to continue improving.

For us, sustainability is not a one-time measure, but an ongoing process. In our daily work, we strive to use resources responsibly, support regional supply chains, and offer our guests a stay in harmony with nature and the surrounding area. This includes, among other things, the conscious use of energy and water, cooperation with local producers, and the reduction of waste wherever possible.

At the same time, it is important for us to remain authentic: we focus on quality rather than quantity and on small but meaningful steps that make a difference in the long term. Our goal is to integrate sustainable practices naturally into everyday life—without compromising comfort and hospitality.

We believe that responsible management is the foundation for a livable future—for us, for our region, and for future generations. That is why we continue to learn, improve, and move forward step by step.

Sustainability is not a finished "product". You have to constantly educate yourself, try out new things, analyse work processes and try to optimise them.
